Vintage t-shirt
Charity shop/DIY skirt
George at Asda shoes
Another work outfit. I love this skirt, it's one of my oldest items of clothing. I bought/DIYed it (it's shortened from a very long granny skirt) when I first started getting properly into fashion about 5 years ago, and it's been a favourite ever since. As a 17 year old with very little money to spend on clothes, I used to buy a lot of charity shop pieces and do a lot of DIYs. I may now be an adult with a full-time job, but I think I might go back to my thrifty teenage ways, as I've decided I'm going to try and save as much money as possible. It may sound silly, but I have a plan to buy my own house in (hopefully) four years, so I need to find more affordable ways to manage my fashion addiction!

Love this skirt! I used to do a lot of DIY-ing, I need to get back into it too as I'm also trying to save money and I used to really enjoy it. x
ReplyDeleteSuch a cool skirt, I need to get into DIY.. I'm too skint to buy new all the time! x
ReplyDeleteHi! I'm a brazilian girl and I'm in London for two months to study on CSM. So I'd like to know some places to buy cheap clothes. I know some markets like Camden, Brick Lane...what about vintage clothes shop?
ReplyDeleteDo you recommend something?
thanks,
Gabriela
Beautiful skirt,i like it.
ReplyDeleteLove this skirt, looking good 5 years on too. Older things tend to be much better quality. I wish I could save, 25 and living with mum haha xx

Loving the t-shirt! Always good to have a bit of comics-love in your fashion.
ReplyDeleteIt's so cool when you find a certain piece in your wardrobe that you know you've been having for years and you still remember its story and all :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I love how you styled the skirt!
Gorgeous little skirt, I love it's cute preppy vibe! The cardigan is really pretty too xxx
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit, its a lot like what actually wear everyday! I would like to get into doing more DIY again, but its a little difficult at the moment since living with my boyfriend's parents means my sewing machine is at home. I will try to do more though when we eventually move out!
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit, I want a skirt like that so I will have to try and DIY something!

ReplyDeleteI love your hair, it suits you so much. I've been tempted to go back to my old short hair, and seeing how good it looks now I'm more convinced!
